Outdates ? Interesting places to visit

Where are your guys favorite places to visit in Reno ? I haven't visited too much around town! It would be fun to go to casinos and play some games. Possibly take a trip to Lake Tahoe when the weather is warmer and enjoy the lake while we get lost in deep conversations. Maybe dinner at a restaurant in town preferably an Italian place ! Also Virginia city has so much history and cute little shops we can explore together!

I've not been there myself, but I've heard good things about the wild animal park that's a few miles north of Reno.  Apparently, most of the animals there are ones that would not be able to survive in the wild, for one reason or another.  e.g. they've recovered from an injury, but are still unable to fend for themselves.

I went to Tahoe ONCE on an out date.  You can have my share of Tahoe.

It was a very beautiful place but I don't like large crowds like that due to my time overseas makes me very on edge

Escape room was fun! Frustrating as hell at times but very fun!

Has anyone done the ultimate rush for an outdate? I have wanted to do it but most people I hang with avoid that kind of thing.

Ultimate rush is the giant swing deal by the grand Sierra. For those that are unfamiliar.

That would be so much FUN! I've never been but it sounds amazing!

If you want to avoid the crowds around Lake Tahoe go in October between the summer season and the Winter ski season.  It is a beautiful place but agree it is often overcrowded and can be expensive.
I would like to walk to the castle at Emerald bay one of these years.

There are also many random places all along the lake that you can get to that almost never have crowds, you just have to find them. It can get quite peaceful when you do and you don't have to deal with all the crowds at the main areas.

Virginia City is an interesting place to visit and not far away, closer than Lake Tahoe.  Take the train from there to Gold Hill and back, and visit a church called St. Mary of the Mountain which has a very interesting museum.  In September, there's National Air Races.
