Reno event cancellations due to Covid-19

Several statewide Nevada events have been cancelled due to coronavirus complications and legalities.

The 2020 SEMA Show and 2021 SHOT Show in Las Vegas were cancelled; however, the 2021 Las Vegas AVN Adult Entertainment EXPO hasn't been cancelled yet.

LPIN Awards has complied a list of many 2021 Nevada events, but some may be cancelled due to the coronavirus.

Looks like The Great Reno Balloon Race has been canceled, effective July 2nd. It was supposed to take place on September 11th - 13th 2020.

The National Championship Reno Air Races have officially been cancelled just announced today, June 26th. The event was originally scheduled for September 16th - September 20th.

There's no word yet on the The Great Reno Balloon Race, but it is tentatively scheduled for September 11th-13th, but it is a week after the cancelled Sparks Rib Cookoff.

Hoping they won't cancel the Air Races. That's a fun event.

The big motorcycle event, Street Vibrations is scheduled for September 24th - September 27th, and no decision has been made to cancel yet.

 Any word on the Balloon Races?  I hear they have also cancelled Hot August Nights and the Reno Rodeo. (I didn't know they had one.)  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Air Races.  They (Airrace.org) will make a firm decision by the end of June.

Sorry for the bad news, but I felt if people were planning on coming to the Reno area to get away this gives you a heads up of what's going on, or what's not going on.

Well, at least the casinos and malls are open!
