I have not heard of anything from the Mustang Staff about how or what
the Mustang is planning on doing 2 take precaution w/  this CoronaVirus Pandemic.
Can we get a chime in from the MUSTANG STAFF
instead of hearsay from like a not--tooo good reliable source ((such as:: Tmz))

I have not heard anything from the Reno Local News BUT
after doing a google search,, I saw this from Tmz in the Last Paragraph of
     this article link -->  https://www.tmz.com/2020/03/15/nevada-brothels-demand-masked-sex-during-coronavirus-scare/
         From TMZ
""""And, then there's the famed Mustang Ranch ... they say customers have their temperature checked before entering. """"

WELL, whether or not if the Mustang did say that to TMZ
We do need for both Ladies//Staffs  & Clients //Customers
2 take preventative actions  during this expanding outbreak

In spite of this nasty CoronaVirus (( COVID-19)) Pandemic Disease
As late Friday evening in Reno,,,
The Offices @ The City of Reno  & Offices @ Washoe County Admin ..
After spring break, ending on 03/23/2K20..
The 2  colleges in Reno will not be holding class session @ the campuses. They are doing online remotely.
As of this past Friday and early next wek.
Quite many business including where I work have sent peeps  home for remote online
As of Sat  here in RENO
Most of the casinos and social events around Reno have suspended or postpone
thier events or meetingss to a later date.

   Hope everyone
   STAY  SAFE

When I visited Mustang last night I was not expecting to have the door guy check my temperature but glad he did.  In talking with one of the ladies I learned Mustang is now checking the temperature of all customers and checking the temperature of every lady every day as well.  So thank you to the Mustang staff for helping prevent coronavirus as it was on my mind given the current global situation.

🤔🤔 I hope they are the disposable thermometer type, and they are doing by mouth not the other end. 🤣🤣🤣

Ironman you must be in the Flintstone era of thermometers. They have them now that don't need to be stuck in any orifice to get your temperature.😄🍩
I am aware of this Chuck however since he didn't specify how it was taken I chose to throw it out there.😉😄

Does that post edit mean the ranch has closed since then or are you just urging better safe than sorry?

I understand they have closed

However the stated reasons for the closure: "... the health and safety of the women who work there, and the guests are the company's priority." says everything that needs to be said.

You have my respect for making this tough decision, but I agree that in the long term it's in everyone's best interests.  To all the staff and ladies at the Mustang, stay safe and healthy.

And expect to see me up there within a week or two of this being over, I was planning a trip for the end of March, but that'll have to go on ice for now.

It's a difficult, but good call. I don't think anyone quite has a handle on what COVID-19 is just yet and this move will save the health of the Mustang's most precious assets - the ladies and the customers. My best wishes to all at this time to stay healthy and here's hoping you all remain Covid-free.

Gus

This is indeed a wise decision. However, the news is buried in the forum, in a TV4 item that Adventure Guy kindly posted.
There really needs to be an up-front statement by management right on the First page of this website.
Best of luck and health to all the ladies and staff!
