Title: The Budapest Red Bull Air Show 2014
Post by: SeattleSun on Jul 10, 2015, 03:41 PM
Time to get pumped for the Reno Air Show?

Red Bull was a local Thai "energy" drink when I was in Thailand  during the 1970s.  Back then it was basically honey mixed with caffeine.  An Austrian guy teamed up with the Thai owner and took it  international.  It was a big hit with the club scene as I understand it.  In many states it is illegal to serve a stimulant (Red Bull) with a depressant (alcohol) but I see it done all the time in Nevada which is the wild wild west of drinking.

Since Red Bull is a private company, that has no share holders to answer to, they just spend all the company profits having fun.

On a personal note, the only bridge I ever flew under was the Del Coronado in San Diego.   :o :o :o :o :o

Hey I know that bridge. They shut it and Golden Gate Bridges down. And had people lined up on them with signs watching and welcoming us home onboard the USS Carl Vinson CVN-70 after the war in 2003. Cause only Navy family & friends were allowed on base when we pulled into NAS North Island. For we launched 2 F-14 Tomcats to go under the bridges to do a Sonic boom. Before we pulled into NAS North Island to drop off are airwing. Before going up to San Francisco and back home to Bremerton.

Just off the bridge you have San Diego Padres & San Diego Chargers  Petco Park & Qualcom Stadium are on the right hand side.
