Title: Horses
Post by: ryntak46575 on Sep 19, 2014, 05:37 PM
When I was driving away this past Wed morning, and I had passed the bike track on the right, but before I made it to the area where you turn left off of Wild Horse Canyon (or whatever road the MR/WH is on), I had two horses and a colt walk in, just easy as could be, from the left hand side, cross the road within like 20 feet in front of me (like "Dude, slow down, we're walking here, eh?).

Were these actually somebody's, or were these really wild horses?

some are originally wild horses, and some where turned loose in '08- '09 when their owners couldn't afford to feed them anymore.  I think there is at least two groups on the south side of the river, from Vista out to Exit 28 and beyond, but it might be one herd that wanders around in sub groups.

if you can catch one you can take it home with you, the ultimate souvenir from the Mustang ranch in Wildhorse canyon
