I would love to read her book but it seems to be impossible to find it in the US.

This is so true! Age or beauty doesn't really matter that much in this business, as long as one is well groomed, can make a connection and be a good conversationalist, as well as know how to treat a man well and make them feel special, that's what it takes. A lot of this comes with experience. And many of us, like myself for instance, age like a fine wine. We get better with age if you ask me.
