Way to go guys!!!!!!

It was a little sloppy going out yesterday morning but the seas came down soon.

We caught some big snapper and kings.  I am in first place (so for) with a 51lb. cobia.  It probably won't win but at least we are on the  board.

Gotta love that!!!   I ain't never caught a fish of any kind close to 51 pounds.....

Damn nice fish but you're right!..LOL!    He earned his name with that one....

...... thanks guys.  You should have seen the king one of our ladies caught.  It is longer then she is but I can't put up the picture.  She also won 1st. place with a 49 lb. kingfish.

I'm back home from our DSR fishing trip & our trip to Lake Proctor for some catfish. I had a great time & I'm looking forward to going again next year. I wanted to stay longer but family commitments & a Drs. appointment cut my trip a little short.

We did pretty well at the DSR. We all caught fish... limits of big red snappers, plenty of kingfish & Cobia's big cobia. We also caught a bunch of black drum bay fishing a couple of days before the DSR started. The fishing at Lake Proctor started out kinda slow but picked up Thursday. We got 21 cats that day. Some of them were pretty hefty! 

Mucho thanks to Cobia for putting up with me for nearly two weeks. He's the best host a feller could ever ask for. I learn a lot about saltwater & catfish fishing every trip.

Just got this 27lb. blue.

Had another 1 almost this same size on the hook next to this 1 but he got a dead pull and got off.

Had another 1 almost this same size on the hook next to this 1 but he got a dead pull and got off.

Damn!     I know how big your net is. How did you get that monster in your boat?
