So, both times that I ended up going last time, the ladies referred me about staying at the lodge (this way, when it hit 3am i didnt have to drive to reno). Has anyone who stayed there have anything to say about it? I might plan on staying there this next time around (whenever that may be.)
Hopefully some other people that have stayed there will chime in as well, but for the one night that I stayed at the lodge, no complaints at all. Sure, for the price you're not going to get a 5 star penthouse suite kind of deal. But they're nice rooms, at a very reasonable price, and at least the night I stayed, it was plenty quiet.
Sure, it's a walk across the parking lot to get there, but they have some amazing breakfasts available in the saloon, I don't remember exactly what I had, but I do remember it was good.
I'd definitely give it two thumbs up.

I have stayed at the lodge ever since it opened. My visits are for a week at a time. It is so nice to just walk across the parking lot and not have to worry about driving back too town.
If the lodge wasn't open I probably would not be going out there any more. I was ripped off twice on car rentals ( at the airport ) and it is a problem getting your money back.
Oh yeah, you can just call the bartender of mornings and he will order your breakfast and it will be ready by the time you walk over there. That is pretty nice. The breakfast burrito......I bet you can't eat the whole thing. It is good and huge and the home made hot sauce is out of this world.
I like staying at the lodge, and the food in the bar is excellent.
The lodge is nice. The breakfast is the best . Chicken Fired Stake and Eggs it is the best.
Also a plus is staying their gives you a chance to meet more of the lovey Mustang Ladies.
Do they allow wifi
I used my AT&T hot spot while I was staying there.

Do they allow wifi
Good Question. I thank they do but you should ask management for the current policy.
I also used a Sprint hot spot also my AT&T phone. In the lodge sometime one works better than the other all depends
what part of the building you are in.
WiFi works fine in the bar and the front of the building. It does not work at the end of D Hall. It is spotty out by the pool. YMMV.
My Verizon iPhone service works great anywhere on site.
And yes, the food is excellent. I especially love the omelets.
I just wish all the TV sets would get actual TV.
The lodge is a great feature . I agree with cobia makes visit much more enjoyable
