Internet security is the reason not to do it.  No way can anyone guarantee that you wont get computer viruses etc from third party ad links. Obviously, an establishment like the MR has it's share of critics / enemies that would love to screw with the website. This is a way they can do it.  It's happened to websites that are likely protected a lot better than this one.
